Here is what I am looking for.

Next week (December 4 - our last in class meeting)

1. During class - Each person will give a quick talk about two (2) items:
1. Introduce us to a website that either gives a virtual tour, or uses virtual technology. (see the article on Authentic learning for more direction about these type of technologies).
2. Tell us about one of the lessons you have been thinking about trying on your students.  If you have tried it already, tell us about your experience.  Let us know what works and what doesn't work, or what you except to face, hurdles you will have to cross, etc.
3. To make the process go a bit smoother and quicker, place any links that you would like to reference at the top of your Wiki page.
2. After class and before I turn in your grades (on December 14), you will need to have a link on your Wiki page or text placed on your page concerning the following items:
1. A link to your podcast (we will finish this in class on Tuesday December 4)
2. A link to your PowerPoint idea or completed non-linear PowerPoint
3. A link to, or filled out on your Wiki page a lesson corresponding to five (5) of the following seven areas we looked at during class or in our readings:
1. Podcasting
2. Online Collaboration (think Wiki's, blogs, del.icio.us, etc.)
3. Spreadsheets (systems modeling)
4. Expert Systems (think Guess the dictator or sitcom character or 20 questions also, the non-linear PowerPiont)
   
5. Virtual technologies and tools
6. Semantic networks (think Inspiration)
7. Digital Cameras and mobile technologies.
4. Make sure you have replied to all of the articles that I have posted on the message board.
5. Leave a constructive or encouraging comment on at least five other people's Wiki page (will discuss how to do this in class on December 4)
6. A link to your WebQuest.
